Even as President Clinton was hailing an outbreak of peace in the region, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General John Shalikashvili- now a director at Carlyle Group- was meeting with Croat military commanders in Zaghreb to coordinate the deployment of 25,000 US troops to back the breakaway armies in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Mali, Hagel & the Rothschilds

Yesterday, as if to send a message to the US Senate Armed Services Committee, Israel bombed a convoy on the Syria/Lebanon border. It seems to have worked. This morning, chicken hawks on that committee with names like McCain and Inhofe are busy grilling Obama Defense Secretary Nominee Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) as to his unflagging allegiance to mother Israel and the military-industrial complex alike.

Meanwhile, the Rothschild-led City of London Illuminati banksters who run the dog and pony show otherwise known as Israel, seek to grab more global resources – this time in the north African country of Mali.

On February Tuareg rebels based in northern Mali, with help from al Qaeda remnants trained and armed by Rothschild intelligence agencies MI6 and Mossad to overthrow the neighboring Qaddafi government in Libya, attacked government troops in the Algerian border town of Tinzaouaten.

CIA Islamists Destroy Somalia

The Sudan Tribune reported on Saturday that Ethiopian troops would hand over the recently captured Somalian towns of Beledweyne and Baidoa – which had been strongholds of al Qaeda-allied Al-Shabab Islamist militants – to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM). Ethiopian had sent hundreds of troops to Somalia in December to help Mogadishu fight Al-Shabab.

On September 10, 1992 the US sent 2000 Marines and four warships led by the USS Tarawa to lurk off the Somali coast in the Gulf of Aden which separates Somalia from Saudi Arabia.

Zionists Use al Qaeda to Attack Syria

It came as no surprise to students of Middle East history yesterday when al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri called for the ouster of Syria’s “pernicious, cancerous regime,”.  Progressive Syria has been targeted by al Qaeda in the past, and is currently under attack by Islamists from the CIA/Mossad-trained Free Syrian Army.

When al-Zawahiri headed Egyptian Islamic Jihad in 1984, Reagan’s CIA brought his mujahadeen buddy Ali Mohammed to the US where was put to work training Afghan terrorists in Brooklyn and Jersey City on weekends.  During the week he instructed US Special Forces at Fort Bragg.  In 1998 he helped bomb the US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.  Blowback’s a bitch.

In 1997 Trilateral Commission founder Zbigniew Brzezinski, the godfather of the Afghan mujahadeen, wrote a book titled, The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geopolitical Imperatives.  In the book Brzezinski – who sat on the board at BP Amoco – argues that the key to global power is control of Eurasia and that the “key to controlling Eurasia is controlling the Central Asian Republics”.

In the mid-1980’s the UN tried to broker a peace deal in Afghanistan involving a complete Soviet withdrawal in return for an end to US and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) support for the Afghan rebels.  The Reagan Administration refused the UN deal.  It wanted to “give the Soviets their Vietnam” as part of a grander scheme to rip apart the Soviet Union.  It also wanted the socialist Karmal government out of Kabul.  In 1986 US military aid to the mujahadeen increased dramatically to $1 billion/year.
